Dazzling Ice Plants of California
Took this on a recent trip to San Francisco in Battery Mendel park. I was taking my mom's wedding pictures and had an opportunity to snap some pictures of the surrounding foliage. The park overlooks the Golden Gate Bridge and this old WWII battery. It was a very post apocalyptic looking place with all the crumbling buildings that have become a popular tourist attraction (photo below). I liked how the original photo came out and thought I could tweak it to enhance the texture and color. The picture is of some species of ice plant that grows naturally on the cliffs. Cool effect, I like it.
