New York City Lights - Blurred Non Motion

Here are some interesting shots I took while in NYC. They are essentially eye-candy all the way, and are some of my favorite types of photos to be creative with, because everytime you do a shot like this, it is never the same. Plus over the years I have gotten down various methods of my own in order to reproduce these in any situation. The basic trick is getting down the amount of light allowed to enter the camera, as you move the zoom lense in whatever direction towards a set point. The other part if keeping the set focus point as stable as possible as you move the camera slightly and zoom in to the subject in or out. The results are usually pretty interesting, and if you practive enough the shots start to get easier. They photos where shot with a Canon EOS Digital Rebel, and I never had more fun with a digital camera till I got my hands on one of these. Hopefully one day I will be able to own one of these beauties.
